What the selected record shows

The downloaded record gives 369.71 ppm for 2000 and 424.61 ppm for 2024: a difference of 54.90 ppm over the selected endpoints. This is concentration at the named record, not a global emissions total. A rising line does not identify the causes of individual annual changes.

Selection and transformations

Use the year and mean columns from NOAA’s annual CSV. Keep every year from 2000 through 2024 inclusive, in ascending order. No interpolation, smoothing, re-basing or new annual averaging is applied. The provider uncertainty column is retained in the original snapshot but not plotted in this simplified chart.
